What an incredible experience! We came to Hemingway's Cuba for the food, but left talking about the entire evening. Our waitress, Kelly, was absolutely wonderful - friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. She was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. We times our visit with the 4th of July celebration, and watching the fireworks from the rooftop was absolutely magical. On top of that, they had great music and even salsa lessons, which made the night so much fun! Everything about Hemingway's Cuba exceeded our expectations. Between the amazing cuisine, beautiful rooftop views, incredible cocktails, and outstanding service, it was an unforgettable evening. We will definitely be back next time we visit Asheville.

I hit up AI on what people are saying about this place and the recommendations it gave Did NOT disappoint! It recommended Tostones board to start 🤤, sip back the Mojito Flight 🤤 and to top it all off the view and service were Absolutely amazing! Come check this place out! You won’t regret it!

My wife and I visited Hemingway’s after a recommendation from a local. We really enjoy Cuban food so we decided to give it a try, and we *really* wanted to like it but it was hard to find positives here… The food: One Coco Sol Margarita, two Vaca Frita main dishes. The margarita was the only thing we have no negative feedback on. The Vaca Fritas are very different than the traditional dish, and the menu doesn’t hint at the differences. The meat was in chunks instead of “shredded” and it was overly fatty. The chimi they put on top is just chopped vegetables. The rice was unseasoned and bland. The black beans were tasty and the plantains were good as well. One of the plates had over 50% fat instead of meat. Service: I’ll start with saying our waitress was very attentive and accommodating, and she did very well. However, for a restaurant that was mostly empty (and plenty of patio seats open) we waited 30 minutes to be seated and we were the only ones waiting. The host was not polite and very clearly did not want to seat us, and we also witnessed him being impolite to another customer while we waited. I can only guess that he made us wait in hopes that we would go somewhere else. We

Such a fantastic view! Gorgeous sunsets and fire pits for chilly nights. The staff are super friendly! The music is fun. The food was so yummy. I loved my ribs and the empanadas. And the chocolate cake was a 10!!! Also good mocktails!!!

Our server Kelly was amazing!!🤩 she for sure delivered an incredible experience!! The food was amazing!! Everything that our party of 8 ordered was delicious 😋 The outside area is great for photos!! 10/10 highly recommend!!!
